Refunds via Yoco

When a refund is issued through QUALICORE for a Yoco-paid invoice:

  1. The amount is sent to Yoco via POST /payments/:id/refunds.
  2. Yoco posts a refund webhook (verified via HMAC against YOCO_WEBHOOK_SECRET).
  3. The Payment record is marked refunded with the timestamp and Yoco refund ID.
  4. The customer's card is credited within 5–10 business days.
  5. A refund receipt PDF is generated and emailed.
  • Card processing fees are not refundable* — Yoco retains them. The refund preview shows this transparently before you confirm.
  • EFT refunds* are processed manually by superadmin → the system marks the payment as refunded and surfaces a task for finance.
