Mid-cycle agent changes — how proration works

Proration on agent count changes

QUALICORE bills per active agent. When you add or remove agents mid-cycle, the next invoice prorates by working days remaining.

  • Add an agent:* the new agent's per-day cost is added for every working day from the change date to the period end.
  • Remove an agent:* the removed agent's per-day cost is credited back from the change date.
  • Where it shows:*
  • Admin → Subscription → Billing Preview lists every line item that will appear on the next invoice, including proration.
  • The Off-cycle billing statement (issued automatically when agent count changes by more than 10% mid-cycle) reflects the change immediately.
  • Why working days, not calendar days?* Because you're not buying QA capacity on a Saturday. We use a SA holiday calendar; superadmins can override it per tenant.

See QUALICORE on your team's calls.
